Where is the Pa(Lo)st Bond?

Once best buddies, Sharing the greatness of their religions With each other, Amalgamating the two for a hybrid Din-il-lahi; The syncretic spirits that rose into rage When the crafty viceroy plotted For a crack in the Bengal presidency Have become dormant When the fissures were to occur In the great old civilisational center. What to call it? The reason 1. Personal 2. Fanaticism 3. Mark Antony mode of sedition.... O the third? Yes!!! Alas! The four cows are we? Fell prey to the lion Listening to the words of a sly fox. Once cousins and pals Casting explosives for vanquishing And the other shooting to defend not him But the country as his family, Losing his valuable life to guard the 'lives' of his countrymen.

Panmugam padaitha Kannagi

During our primary, all we know of Silappathikaram as one of the five great epics in Tamil. During the high school, a talented Tamil teacher would engage us for a span of half an hour and narrate the epic. The epic would be so concise. In the future stages, the teacher would read the poem from the informative Tamil text. The poem, “Thingal Potruthum...” is one of the best eco critical poems in Tamil literature. It is eco critical because, Ilango Adigal considers the sun, moon, the rain, the mountain and the place as a single entity. He is so philosophical that he shows these things as autonomous bodies and then gives priority to men. When our ages rose, our curriculum also grew. The teacher would always tell us that she would want the whole day as the breathing space to speak about the epic. The Tamil book had critical pieces. The best is “Kudimakkal Kaapiyam” by The.Po. Meenachisundaram Pillai. He is a very gifte

Puthumaipithan Enna Solgirar?

As usual, an introduction to something fresh is done by our teacher. One such idealistic influence on students like us was a freshener, the teacher introduced. We have a freshener in Tamil literature. He is called Puthumaipithan. The first respect I could give him is to remove the red line beneath his name by adding his name in the dictionary. This writer is a reformist. The writer became a very popular figure. In the life, he has led; he was blessed with the option to take his pen and paper to reform the country. Puthumaipithan was the writer of the story, “Kadavulum Kanthaswami Pillaiyum” (God and Kandaswami Pillai). The story is about an indigenous doctor, Kanthaswami Pillai. Doctor Pillaivaal also runs a magazine based on health care. He is like a normal businessman. Note this. He is a just a business man and not a business doctor. Puthumaipithan is very careful not to make him a mercenary completely and not too generous as well. His ‘generous’ nature is found when he asks Kad

Intensity of Love

In the dim light Sat a frame A size zero figure Made of dieting and work outs A lip painted pale pink The dark eyes underlined black The fair complexion Pulled him closer She pushed him aside A philanthropist plus a Gold medalist in psychiatry He could hardly restrain But to treat this rape attempt victim Whose mind has detoriorated her body.

JK enum Aasanin Kathopadesam

It was in my Eleventh Standard at my school, my renowned and talented Tamil teacher, Mrs. Vyakula Mary introduced a band of budding students and citizens who are to penetrate into the society in the nearest future to JK. Jayakanthan was a name that was ringing at some corner of every mind. The name was the same while voices differed. In the process of reading through the short story in my well informative Tamil Supplementary reader, a girl stood up to read the story, “Sattai”, by JK. JK is a revolutionary. The story “Sattai” is about a so –called Saint, who goes to the army after hearing the Gitopadesam. The sattai (cloth) is just an accessory. The body itself is an accessory for the Soul. The soul is the only important thing. By the end of the story, the young man leaves the temple in which he dwelled and joined the army. His principle was very simple that the body being apparel to the soul, the soul has no business to do with the dress he wears. JK has reiterated the thought of Sw

Plus sized overwhelming

In this sojourn of life Human birth is the primary gift The accessory God gave Is the body. God's plan is for us He wants you To stop you wear denims To let you cater A gym A physician A dietician A nutritionist And a Booker We're witty people Look at Lord Ganesha Behold Gatothkacha Sparing his massive life For the progress in the war. When soul is significant Why pamper the body? Because your body Eats whatever you want Strives for your soul's Sake With no food Because you don't give it food. You eat and you even abuse the body. Love your body. Thank it daily. Give whatever it yearns for Like a friend. It'll be your friend. If you boss over like a master Nothing can be done to your angry servant.

Death at its full swing

Initiated by Cain The bloody deed Of fratricide, His brother Bidding farewell to the Garden of Eden. With the fruit succumbing To the world of despair. Leaving a trail behind Lands upon the earth A band of uncouthly deprivers Of precious human lives The parallel fratricide. With a single boom, Vanish the entire population. With a pull of a trigger Desert the vibrant lives To nowhere. Death can be easy But facing death is tough. Reminded of the game of dice In “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” The sport between Death And ‘Life in Death’ Hundreds embrace death Thousands cling to death. Lac dwell a life in death. Waiting for death Anytime. Writing for a balanced death. Is Zeitgeist of this age, Fratricide? Happily not recognizing The divine Abel And reaching the destination of Cain? Cain or Abel Or Can and able To follow. Not only those dying Live a life of death. Those who kill too live a life of death. C
